BrauBeviale – International Trade Fair for the Beverage Industry

Pallet live storage ensures fast through-put of goods

The centrepiece of our exhibition stand is the BITO pallet live storage system. This solution is particularly suitable for breweries and beverage manufacturers that handle high throughput volumes and repeat orders.

Pallets are loaded into the racking at the rear and move automatically along inclined roller conveyor lanes to the retrieval side. Once a pallet has been retrieved, the next one moves forward automatically.

This system offers tangible benefits in day-to-day operations:

• Shorter forklift travel distances and fewer forklift journeys

How does the pallet flow racking system work in a brewery?

The huge potential of this system is demonstrated by its use at Rothaus, where the BITO pallet live storage system is used for picking complete pallet loads.

Storage capacity has been significantly increased, whilst at the same time handling has been made more efficient. The gravity-driven forward movement of pallets ensures that the FIFO principle is reliably upheld. New batches can be easily loaded from the rear and seamlessly integrated into the material flow.
