How does visual guidance in live storage applications work?
To digitise flow racks, wireless smart labels are fitted to existing racking systems. These smart displays communicate wirelessly with the central LNC Picking software and continuously receive up-to-date information on stock levels, orders and processes.
Smart labels feature E-Ink displays that permanently show product information with multi-coloured LEDs for visual guidance. During order picking, the relevant labels light up and display the quantity to be picked right at the product storage position. Sensors automatically detect stock levels and trigger reorders when stock levels fall below defined a minimum threshold.
