Delivery risk and despatch

Delivery to mainland England & Wales is free if your order is above £150 ex VAT. Below £150, delivery is £15 to mainland England & Wales. Deliveries to Scotland, offshore locations or Northern Island will incur charges as per the schedule:

  1. The time for delivery shall run from the later of the date an order is received or the date on which sufficient information is received from the Purchaser to enable the Seller to proceed with the execution thereof.
  2. Where any subsequent deviation from these terms is made at the request of the Purchaser any additional cost incurred will be charged to the Purchaser.
  3. The Seller accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly from failure to supply or delay in supplying any goods howsoever arising.
  4. Each delivery shall be subject to the Sellers terms and conditions and failure to make any one delivery shall not vitiate the contract as to others.
  5. The risk in the goods passes to the Purchaser upon despatch notwithstanding any subsequent return to or retaking of possession by the Seller and S.20(2) of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 shall not apply. The Purchaser, therefore, should insure accordingly.
  6. Packaging and mode of dispatch shall be at the sole discretion of the Seller.

Terms of Payment

The first order of all new customers is supplied on a Proforma basis.
On orders thereafter a credit application form can be obtained on request. The opening of the account is subject to status. Our Payment terms on credit accounts are strictly 30 days net from invoice date. Late payment will be charged at the pro-rata rate of 2% per month.
Accounts are payable in Pound Sterling unless mutually agreed otherwise.
No set-off claim shall operate at any time without the Seller’s prior written agreement.
Bills of exchange will be accepted by the Seller as payment provided discount charges, taxes and any related fees are borne by the Buyer.
In the case of high volume orders (as determined by the Seller) the Seller shall be entitled to demand either advance or interim payments of the purchase price. Such payments shall be paid within 7 days of the date of invoice with the final payment paid within 30 days.


Project planning

A unique project solution for you: from the initial concept, to design and planning, to assembly on-site at your plant, our expert project team will advise and support you for the entire duration of the project. We analyse your product structures, examine your storage and picking processes on site, and help you to select the right racking system and/or the ideal combination of a range of systems. Our in-house construction experts, draughtsmen and stress analysts will develop the perfect solution tailored to suit your unique challenges and applications.


Assembly service

If you are short of time or staff to set up your shelving or racking installation, we will be pleased to assist you with an assembly team. Our professionally trained staff will take charge of setting up the delivered installation. In close cooperation with project managers and engineers, they ensure that assembly work is carried out efficiently and in line with all safety regulations. If requested, at a fixed price. Racking inspection & maintenance

Businesses with racking on-site are required by the Health & Safety Executive to have their storage systems inspected by a trained specialist at least once every twelve months. BITO is ideally suited for this task with qualified rack inspectors who can inspect systems for you and set the required measures in motion to guarantee you constant high operating stability. A report will be provided that highlights issues with the installation as well as recommended solutions of repair and/or replacements parts. In conjunction with you, we’ll arrange the dates for subsequent inspections to ensure the ongoing safety of your employees and a long life for your installation.

The BITO UK Experience Centre

  • Within our Nuneaton facility, we have the Experience Centre that provides a relaxed environment to discover the vast range of solutions and products we can offer on the intralogistics journey. This starts with a variety of bins and containers, passes through modular shelving to state-of-the art static and dynamic storage and picking solutions.

    We can design a tailored solution for you and test it in an area of the Experience Centre set aside for this purpose. The Centre also provides the perfect facility for meetings and conferences.
