About the customer

Trendrum is an e-commerce company that sells furniture and interior design via the site Trendrum.se.

Starting point and customer requirements

    • Trendrum has built a new main warehouse in Broby, Östra Göinge municipality, to expand its warehouse capacity.
    • The total storage area is 11,000–12,000 square meters distributed over three warehouses.
    • The expansion took place in two stages (2020-2021) and BITO gained renewed confidence after stage 1.

BITO's solution

    • Pallet rack with a total of just over 13,000 places for pallet goods.
    • Shelf stand for picking smaller items.

Application by customer

    • The distance between the beams in the pallet racks is adapted according to Trendrum's wishes to get in as much goods as possible.
    • Shelves are located at floor level inside pallet racks with a lattice floor as a roof.
    • In each warehouse there is a tunnel that runs horizontally through all pallet rack sections to facilitate pedestrian and truck traffic.
